Where is the Bible Contradiction?
Sab says that there is a contradiction, but I don’t see any contradiction.
Thesis 1 and 2 are in perfect harmony, and it is quite shocking that SAB fails to see that.
Thesis 1: Against him
'Those who are not with Jesus are against him.' Meaning: Those who reject Jesus’ ideas are against him. Or: Those who are not in harmony with his ideas/words are against him.
Thesis 2: For him
'Those who are not against Jesus are for him.' Meaning: Those who do not reject Jesus’ ideas are for him. Or: Those who are in harmony with his ideas/words are for him.
Here and now: Many people do not reject Jesus’ ideas and don’t want to reject him in spite of SAB activities and suchlike.
Together
Thesis 1: The foes of Jesus are those who are negative about his ideas/words and about him.
Thesis 2: The friends of Jesus are those who are not negative about his ideas/words and about him.
Mathematically
The equation is:
not with me = against me (thesis 1)
The rule is to omit or to add on both sides the same element. Here ‘not’.
That gives:
Not not with me = not against me
A double negation is positive, so:
With me = not against me (thesis 2)
Answering the Atheist
This is all pretty consistent. SAB seems to be confused and confusing, not Jesus Christ.
It is clear that Jesus didn’t preach a gospel of ‘Follow me, or burn forever’, but rather ‘Love my ideas/words and I will show my love/myself to you’
